Some brands are built overnight. RINA J. was built over a lifetime.
Behind every piece in the RINA J. collection is a creative force with more than three decades of experience spanning corporate leadership, fine art, and fashion design. A career built in technology and business strategy without ever letting go of the artist inside.
Because the art never stopped.
The creativity started early. Pencil drawings gave way to watercolors and oil paintings. Hand crafts evolved into fashion. In 2023 came the discovery of WHDesigns, a world of one-of-a-kind fashion doll artistry, OOAK repaints and hand-curated couture miniatures trademarked within a year and built into a two-decade reputation for meticulous, collector-level design.
In between, a real business. A sign and decal shop opened in 2011 brought hands-on experience in custom apparel, large format printing, banners and signage — the kind of real-world production knowledge that most designers never get.
Then came the universe.
From WHDesigns™, the vision expanded into digital art and animation, building out an entire creative world under Cool Cat Creations LLC home of The Shadow District, a universe of bold characters, raw energy and unapologetic originality. One day, while rendering a character from that world, something clicked. The streetwear design on screen was too good to stay digital.
RINA J. Streetwear was born from The Shadow District.
What started as a single render is now a full brand wearable art rooted in street culture, fine art sensibility and the kind of creative confidence that only comes from a lifetime of building. Every hoodie, every tee, every piece in the collection carries that legacy.
